CT cone beam
Dental cone beam computerised tomography (CT) is a diagnostic test performed using special x-ray equipment. The test is requested by referrers when regular dental or facial x-rays cannot provide sufficiently clear imaging.
Vision XRAY Group offers cone beam CT dental scans using modern technology. This equipment enables us to deliver images tailored to the patient’s needs. Examples of uses for CT cone beams include:
- localisation of impacted teeth
- inferior dental nerve compression
- temporomandibular joint assessment
- dental implant assessment
- surgical planning.
We can also perform CT dental scans using our multi-slice CT scanners, which allow for high-quality images and 3D reconstruction.
